Stoke Fleming Horticultural and Sports Society Annual Show

The Annual Stoke Fleming Show took place on Bank Holiday Monday August 25th on the Playing Field and in the Village Hall. The Show was a great success despite very blustery weather. The programme included . . .

Punch and Judy (another return visit by popular request)
Balloon Modelling
The Riverside Ramblers Jazz Band.
Display of Dog Obedience Training.
Bar Tent, Children’s Bar, Lunch BBQ, Ice-cream and Teas were all available.
There were classes for gardeners, cooks, flower arrangers and craftspeople, as well as the ‘Rural’ fun division open to everyone big or small.

The stalls included those raising funds for several worthwhile causes such as Shelter Boxes, RNLI, and the National Coastwatch Institution.
